Feasibility study leads to additional PV at the Université Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens
Feasibility study gives solar installation the green light as part of building retrofit
A feasibility study at the Université Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens, France, for the installation of solar panels on three campus buildings is now complete. The results show that installing 110kWp of PV, spread across over 715 m² of rooftop surface, is indeed feasible. These installations would cover 100MWh of energy production per year.
After reviewing the findings of the feasibility study, the UPJV Council decided to include this solar installation in the building’s retrofit, which is due to start in 2021.
