This 2nd workshop of SOLARISE was an opportunity for the project partners to meet, share experiences and discuss ideas with project stakeholders and representatives of organisations interested in the adoption and deployment of solar energy.
The workshop was held on Wednesday 12 September 2018 at the University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, UK
It included an overview of the Interreg 2Seas Solarise project, a discussion on the ongoing work and future plans on solar installations in two city councils in the south of England, a discussion on the challenges faced and opportunities identified by communities of investors in solar energy from the south of England, an overview of methods for assessing and projecting the effectiveness of feed-in tariffs for residential photovoltaic systems, a spatial perspective on UK solar deployments, and an analysis of the fluctuations of the solar market in Flanders.
